OGame - first day

Today I start my first game. It is OGame and I start international version. It also has finnish version, but what I have tested (though it was year ago) it was poorly translated.

Registaration is normal enter your username, e-mail address and password and select universe(server). Game recommended universe 20, so I selected it. After appecting T&C I got to game. In start window it asks you to activate your account, but I don't understand why, because it let's you play without it. In Ogame you need to build your space-empire, but before that you need construction materials. Ogame has three different resources metal, crystal and deuterium. Your planet produces metal and crystal automatically little amounts ( 20 metal per hour and 10 crystal per hour), but you need to build mines to get more production. So I started to build solar plant (mines need power!) after 3 minutes it was completed and then I started to build metal mine. After metal mine was completed I build crystal mine. After it was completed my little solar power plant can't produce more energy, so I need to upgrade it. Then I can build bigger mines and they need more power, so I need to build bigger solar plant and so on.

In left is menu what you use to get different pages:
-Overview (You can see your planet and few stats from it (diameter, temperature and position. Below is your points and your rank)
-Buildings (You can build different things to your planet from this page i.e. Metal mine or shipyard)
-Resources (You can see how much your planet produces resources)
-Merchant (You can call a merchant. It costs dark materia (you need to buy it with real money) I have not tested it)
-Research (You can research different things from this page, but you need research lab first)
-Shipyard (You can build ships from this page, but you need shipyard)
-Fleet (You can see your mighty fleet from this page)
-Technology (You can see every building, research, ship and defense structure what game has and what you need to get them from this page)
-Galaxy (You can see what players you have in your system.)
-Defense (You can build defense from this page)
-Alliance (You can join to alliance or create your own from this page)
-Board (Takes you to Ogame forum)
-Officers recruitments (You can buy dark materia (with real money) from this page and with dark materia you can buy different officers what boost different things in game i.e geologist gives you +10% more resources)
-Statistics (You can see where you rank among players)
-Search (You can search different players, planets or alliances from this page)
-Help (Takes you to OGame help page)
-Messages (Your message page. Notices you from different things in game and other players can send you messages also)
-Notes (Opens a popup where you can write notes)
-Buddylist (Your friend list)
-Options (choose a new password, enable vacation mode and delete your account and so on)
-Logout
-Rules (Takes you to forum topic where rules are located)
-Legal notices (This webpage is offered by Gameforge and so on)
